Where the sky meets the earth

A high-altitude cold desert ringed by the Himalayas and Karakoram, it rewards those who make the journey with landscapes so vast and still they feel almost unreal. This 11-day itinerary takes you from the ancient lanes of Leh to the electric blue of Pangong Lake, across the dunes of Nubra Valley, and over some of the highest motorable passes in the world.
