Meghalaya is India's best-kept secret — a land of living root bridges woven by Khasi hands over centuries, rivers so clear you can see every pebble twenty feet below, and waterfalls that plunge off plateau edges into endless green valleys. This 6-day journey takes you from the colonial hill town of Shillong through the wettest place on earth at Cherrapunji, down to the surreal turquoise waters of Dawki, and into the ancient forest trails of Mawlynnong.

Itinerary
Day by Day
Day 1
Arrive in Shillong
Fly into Guwahati and drive to Shillong (3 hrs). Check in, explore Police Bazaar, and enjoy a quiet evening in the hills.
Day 2
Shillong Sightseeing
Visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Ward's Lake, and the Don Bosco Museum. Evening at leisure in the city.
Day 3
Cherrapunji
Drive to Cherrapunji — the wettest place on earth. Visit Nohkalikai Falls (India's tallest plunge waterfall), Seven Sisters Falls, and the Mawsmai Caves.
Day 4
Living Root Bridge Trek
Trek down to the double-decker living root bridge at Nongriat — a 3,500-step descent through dense jungle. Swim in the natural blue pool at the base. Return by evening.
Day 5
Dawki & Mawlynnong
Drive to Dawki and take a boat on the Umngot River — the clearest river in Asia. Continue to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, and walk the sky walk over the forest canopy.
Day 6
Departure
Drive back to Guwahati for your onward flight. Journey ends.
